Workshop leaders and attendees are very positive about MaestroConference

We’re now a little more than one week into MaestroMonth (www.maestromonth.com) our month-long festival of inspirational teaching and personal development. We’ve successfully completed more than 20 live teleseminars on our new platform, so we thought it time to ask people to tell us what they think of the MaestroConference.

We conducted a MonkeySurvey poll — and the results are in. We’re really thrilled to announce that they confirm what we hoped: dynamic group interaction between and among a host and his or her attendees adds a vital and energizing dimension to large-audience conference calls.

When we asked attendees of these first MaestroConference workshops to rate their experience, here’s what they told us:
— 90 percent rated MaestroConference a better experience than a traditional teleseminar;
— 86 percent said the interactive breakout groups with other participants enhanced the call;
— 58 percent indicated they would like to participate in other teleseminars that include breakouts.

Breakout groups are what sets MaestroConference apart from ‘traditional’ conference calls. They let attendees interact in small groups to discuss and practice what they’re learning. The breakout groups during Jack Canfield’s call received particular praise from participants. Here’s what some attendees told us:
— “I thought it was fantastic that we paired up and could talk to each other while being on the call!”
— “Having me apply what I was learning as we went, and with a partner, maximized the learning.”
— “I really enjoyed the time I spent talking with someone from the United Kingdom whose son is living nearby in Boston.”
— “This was almost better than being there face-to-face because we didn't have to spend time opening up to someone we didn't know. On the phone is easier than face-to face.”
— “I really appreciated the interactive quality of the event. It was fun, informative and experiential.”'

I was amazed...

Submitted by Anonymous on Wed, 08/12/2009 - 14:31.

As a co-host for a few of the MaestroMonth calls, I was amazed by how many people participated in multiple calls.

After a couple MaestroConferences, I started recognizing some people by name. One guy indicated he had participated in more than 30 calls!

Seems to me people really love the connection that happens on MaestroConferences.

A Thought For Improvement

Submitted by Anonymous on Fri, 07/17/2009 - 12:05.

I really like Maestro Conference. But I also have a suggestion for possible improvement. I am sitting at my PC as I participate in the conference with Barbara Marx Hubbard, and I am thinking how great it would be if there were a video simulcast via PC. Perhaps split/screen, so that we could see the presenter on one side, and the moderator on the other. This would be especially helpful when there is extended silence on the phone, and a confusion as to what's happening, or if there has been a disconnect phone-wise. It would also be an opportunity for you-all to display any messages on-screen.
Love and light,

It’s always great to hear

It’s always great to hear feature suggestions from our future customers. Desktop/Video Sharing is a great suggestion and will make a fantastic platform even better for our customers. At this point, to reach the official launch of MaestroConference, we are heavily focused on outstanding audio quality and superior conference scalability. Plus, if you haven’t see our cool conductors interface, check it out: Conductor Interface Video

Thanks again for your feedback and keep an eye out for your requested feature, it’s coming.

So Long Solos,

Maestro David

Unable to call in

Submitted by Anonymous on Tue, 07/14/2009 - 17:51.

I tried to call in for the Gay Hendricks conference and the system kept asking me for the pin, which I've entered many times, but it still wouldn't recognize it. I was then automatically disconnected. I've tried calling for 30 minutes and I was never able to get in.

I emailed customer support and got a generic email reply. I tried to call the 888 number listed in the email and the number would not allow calls from outside the US. The live chat support is closed after 6pm PST and the call began at 6:30pm PST.

The system might be great if it's working. But right now, it isn't.

Thanks so much for letting us

Submitted by dk on Fri, 07/17/2009 - 16:16.

Thanks so much for letting us know about your experience. We want all MaestroConference callers to have a great experience. This feedback will help us improve our conference call service.

We are aware that a few people, like you, had trouble entering their PIN and we’re working to make sure it doesn't happen again. As for the 888 number, you should be able to reach it from anywhere in the world. Callers from outside the USA would pay for this call but they should be able to reach it and we will keep an eye on this.

Again, sorry you were not able to attend the free Gay Hendricks seminar but I hope you will attend another MaestroMonth call and look forward to another MaestroMonth this fall.

Solo or Symphony,

Maestro David
